Terms of Service

Last updated: June 15, 2026

These Terms govern your use of StudentPilotPro. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them, especially the safety and liability sections.

1. Who we are and what this is

StudentPilotPro is a study and progress-tracking tool for pilots-in-training. It helps you track your progress against the FAA Airman Certification Standards (ACS), drill oral-exam questions, log flight hours, and prepare for checkrides. It is a study aid only — see the Aviation & Educational Disclaimer below.

2. Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal — don't share them.
  • Notify us promptly at support@studentpilotpro.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

When using the service, you agree not to:

  • Copy, scrape, resell, redistribute, or publicly post our content (including study guides, Q&A, and compiled materials).
  • Share, sublicense, or transfer your account or paid access to anyone else.
  • Attempt to bypass the paywall, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service or its security.
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

4. Purchases and payments

  • The core ACS tracking and selected free areas are available at no cost. Some content requires a one-time purchase (for example, the full PPL course unlock).
  • Payments are processed by Stripe; by purchasing you also agree to Stripe's terms. We never receive or store your full card details.
  • Prices and what's included may change, but a purchase already made is honored as sold.
  • Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which includes a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

5. Your content

Study notes and other content you create remain yours. You grant us a limited license to store and display that content back to you so the service works across your devices. You can delete your content and account at any time from Settings → Account.

6. Our content and intellectual property

The underlying FAA Airman Certification Standards and regulations are U.S. government material. Our selection, organization, explanations, study aids, DPE Q&A, software, and branding are owned by StudentPilotPro or its licensors and are provided for your personal, non-commercial study use only. StudentPilotPro is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the FAA.

7. Aviation & educational disclaimer

StudentPilotPro is a study aid, not a source of regulatory or operational authority, and not a substitute for a certificated flight instructor (CFI), a Designated Pilot Examiner, or official FAA publications. Content may contain errors, may become out of date as the FAA revises the ACS and regulations, and is general in nature.

  • Always verify any information against the current FAA ACS, 14 CFR, the AIM, and your aircraft's POH/AFM.
  • Always follow the guidance of your CFI and applicable regulations.
  • Using StudentPilotPro does not guarantee that you will pass any knowledge test, oral exam, or checkride.
  • Nothing here is a clearance, an authorization, or a substitute for sound aeronautical decision-making and pilot-in-command responsibility.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content is complete or current.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StudentPilotPro and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that could harm others or us. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Utah/United States Of America, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
